Over the past 30 + years, collecting authentic concert Backstage Passes has become increasingly more popular and is a longtime favorite of many music and concert enthusiasts. Authentic Backstage Passes are extremely difficult to obtain due the fact that they are used as security credentials by the Artists to gain backstage, onstage and dressing room access. Fact is, there are many counterfeiters in the market mass reproducing fake backstage passes and attempting to market them as authentic concert collectibles. Buyers "BEWARE" of who you buy from. Be sure you buy Backstage Passes from a trusted and credible source like Landacollectible. We guarantee all of our Backstage Passes are authentic and have not been reproduced.
Backstage Passes came of age sometime in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Vintage Backstage Passes were mostly distributed and used by local concert promoters and venues. The name of the band/artist was stamped or hand written on the Back Stage Pass. You will see this in some of our collection. As printing technology advanced over the years, Backstage Passes became more detailed with various colors, graphics and holographic foils to prevent any unauthorized individuals from duplicating them. There are basically three (3) styles of passes today; a Tour Laminate which is typically issued by the band’s production team or management company and used by the Band & Crew. The Tour Laminate usually gets you wherever you want to go in a venue. There is also a Laminate which is typically issued for a single event or function and may have a date printed on it. Lastly, there is the Satin Backstage Pass which is stamped or printed with the specific date of issue. There are numerous types of Satin Backstage Passes issued today; which include; Working, VIP, All Access, Photo, Meet & Greet, After Show and others. Today, there are only a few niche companies in the industry that make backstage passes and associated supplies for the concert touring industry, they include; Tour Supply Inc., OTTO, Cube, Arnett Design, All Access Pass & Design and Diablo Passes.
